Former MABA President George Butler likes to quote the “radio station” WII-FM philosophy when speaking about the value of membership in an organization -- “What’s In It For Me.”

Membership in the Mt. Airy Business Association offers many advantages:

  • The cost of annual membership is inexpensive and depends on the size of your business/organization. Membership is January-January.
  • Benefits such as health insurance
  • Member-to-member benefit program
  • Power networking
  • Savings on office supplies and more
  • Meetings on the second Thursday of the month, where you not only receive valuable information about MABA, but important business developments in the community. Two meetings -- December and July or August -- are social outings.
  • The Small Office/Home Office group where independent professionals can discuss issues of importance to them
  • A diverse membership that includes small and large storefront and home-based businesses, non-profit community organizations, schools, religious and cultural institutions, politicians, physicians, restaurants, artists and more, and who reside not only in Mt. Airy, but neighboring Germantown, Chestnut Hill and suburban towns.
  • A weekly electronic newsletter and monthly print newsletter.

MABA is an advocate:
  • Serving as your watchdog for business interests. Many MABA members live and operate their business in Mt. Airy and are active in community organizations, so MABA weighs the interests of the community and business.
  • Providing support when you need it, such as letters and phone calls to city officials
  • Representing you at state and local levels
  • Dealing with blight and nuisances of all kinds

Join MABA by filling in the application below. After clicking on Submit, you will be taken to a Payment Page where you can select to pay for your membership by using MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express or PayPal. If you already have a PayPal account, you will also have the option of paying with eCheck if it is available as a funding source on your individual account. Please send a .gif or .jpg version of your company logo for inclusion in our web site directories, to vp@mtairybiz.com, or if you need to mail it, call Michael Kleiner, 215-704-2397, for the address.
